The shortest list in the range, and the reason this jar leads this section.

Four flavours, one base
No binder, no syrup, no added sugar. The dates hold it together and sweeten it.

The only box in this base
The protein is in the bean itself — nothing here is added to raise the number.

Answered straight, including when the answer is not the flattering one.
Honestly — fibre is its stronger number. 11.2 g per 100 g. It is a light, high-volume snack that fills you up rather than a protein source. If protein is what you are after, the edamame is the jar you want.
Read the answer →It is the grading of the popped seed, measured in suta — roughly, its diameter. 6 suta is the large grade. Bigger seed, thinner shell, cleaner snap. It costs more per kilo and it is the only grade we buy.
Read the answer →It changes the fat, and it changes what the fat has been through. Our jowar puffs are baked and the makhana is roasted in olive oil. Every product we make reads 0 g trans fat on the panel.

Vedic Crunch is an Indian snack brand built on one rule: the site has to say exactly what the pack says. We make roasted makhana, baked jowar puffs, roasted edamame and date bites — ten products in total, made in four FSSAI-licensed plants that we name on every batch. The company behind the brand is Aarogyumm Nutri LLP, Pune.
Makhana is the seed of the prickly water lily, grown in ponds and harvested by hand, then popped with heat until it opens. It is also called phool makhana, fox nut or lotus seed. It is naturally low in fat and high in fibre — 11.2 g per 100 g on our panel — and we buy only 6 suta, the large grade, which pops thinner and snaps cleaner.
The back panel of Desi Masala Edamame reads 42.1 g of protein per 100 g. That is higher than paneer and higher than most protein bars, and it is a whole bean rather than a formulation — nothing has been added to raise the number. It comes in three flavours: Desi Masala, Achaari Twist and Salt & Pepper. The front of all three jars carries a 40.5 g roundel; the panel is the figure we publish, and the nutrition page shows the working.
Nothing in the range is deep fried. The jowar puffs are baked; the makhana and the edamame are roasted in olive oil or a rice bran and olive oil blend. Every product we make declares 0 g of trans fat on its nutrition panel, and Date Bites has no added sugar at all — the 23.1 g of sugar on its panel is the dates.
Every product page carries the full nutrition panel as it is printed, the complete ingredient list in order, the net weight, the barcode and the FSSAI licence number of the plant that made it. Where a panel has not yet been transcribed, we say so rather than filling the gap with a claim.
